"Therapy from down below"

Films: The Cleanse (2016)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Up to that of average toddlers.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: If there is good in all of us, then there must be evil. Or at the very least, the capacity for vice. But have you ever wanted that expunged from you? For it to release its grasp and be its own thing? The answer may surprise you. In fact, you just might like it.

History: For some people, there isn't a single therapy support group that can cure their issues. But there is one that claims it can. Located in the secretive parts of the forest is Let's Get Pure, which is pretty much as the title suggests. But there is more to this eccentric area than meets the eye. Everyone is tasked with drinking a vile liquid before the next day, and if they do, they end up vomiting out something alive. Something new and bizarre, yet quite harmless at first. It is in fact a physical manifestation of their inner vices, and they are tasked with caring for them. Some actually grow to like their demon, others are not so lucky. And if the rules are broken, both man and demon are in trouble.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: By the end of the program, everything is in chaos. Some people have been killed by their demons, the hosts attack our heroes for deviating from the rules, and their demons merge due to their bond into a creature that must be killed for the humans to move on. With reluctance, the man and woman who gave rise to such a being kill it.

Powers/Abilities: If two people share a good bond, the demons stand a chance of merging into one demon.

Weakness: Anything conventional, though they are tamed by positive behavior around them.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Sometimes, these demons can be deadly, as proven by those who just couldn't get to tolerate their company. But for the most part, these are some of the most adorable demons we've seen. They've got the bodies of ghouls but the faces of little babies. Also, they look stunningly real, so you can just imagine holding one in your arms and treating it like it was your offspring (which it technically is). Just be prepared, because they grow up so fast.

Trivia: -This was the second film in director Bobby Miller's "Trilogy of Tears", and the only film that wasn't a short. It was preceeded by 2010's "The Tub" and 2018's "End Times".

-Some of the monster sound effects were provided by voice-acting master, Steve Blum.

No reason to let them out.
Because creating LIFE is surely just a "thing".
"GOD LEFT ME UNFINISHED."

Sorry, but the other demon doesn't look like a devilish Baby Miss. Piggy.
